There are many related factors for whether it can be successfully open app by voice, such as instability and interruption of the network connection which will result in no text results to return. Therefore, if the voice recognition operation stops, check the connection status and other error message if any in order to resume process. In the development of this application and related testing, most of the reasons of failure are the returned name and the original app name does not match. Therefore, the design of this application addressed this issue and provides the ability to save a name when it is unsuccessful.

In case of the return text not matched with any app name, user can choose to press “Open and add” button to add this name to an application, an applications list will be displayed for user to click on the application that user wants to add the new name. After user have clicked on the application that she chose, new name will be saved and open the application.  As the new name is generated from speech, there is no any manual input needed throughout the process, the saved new name can be used to start app by voice afterwards.
